Access Villa Agapè

Palace of the popes

How to get to the Villa Agape ?

By train :
There are two train stations in Avignon :
- Avignon station is in the city center, 10 minutes by foot from the Villa l'Agape.
- The TGV station is out the city center, 10 minutes by car.
There is a shuttle between the two train stations and taxis.

By car :
Coming from the north or the south, exit from highway A 7 at "Avignon Nord".
Follow direction Avignon Centre, go along the banks of the Rhone until the "Porte St Dominique", the last one on the side of the Rhone.
Enter the old walls by the Porte St Dominique only, go straight in the street Victor Hugo, cross the street Joseph Vernet, keep going in the little street Petite Calade until the end, turn left  : you are at the Prefecture, keep going straight under the porch to the junction.
Arriving at the pharmacy on your right, you can park your car in the little recess on your right, a few minutes for unloading your car.
The Villa Agapè is above the pharmacy. It is not visible from the street. The surprise will be at the top of the stairs !

The closest car park, "parking de l'Oratoire" is located outside the old walls.
By foot, there is an exit just at the end of the street St Agricol, on the street Joseph Vernet. It is less than 2 minutes by foot from the house.

Coming from the west, follow the same route from the Porte St Dominique, next to the "Allees de l'Oulle".

By plane :
There are three airports close to Avignon :
- Avignon airport is 20 minutes by car.
- Nimes airport is 45 minutes by car.
- Marseille-Provence international airport is a little hour drive. You'll find taxis and location cars but no shuttle. If you arrive in Paris at Charles de Gaulle airport, you will find direct Charles-de-Gaulle/Avignon TGV trains.
